*2 About the Monthly Plan

For customers using NihonSIM+ for 3 months or longer, long-term contracts are available. The Monthly Plan is billed on a month-to-month basis. During the contract period, you can keep your Japanese phone number.
For example, with a 1-year contract on the 2GB plan, you will receive 2GB of high-speed data and 200 minutes of free calls for just 499 THB per month.

Important Remarks

  • This SIM card is for use within Japan only.
  • Once the high-speed data allowance is used up, the speed will be reduced to 128kbps. Data usage will reset on the 1st of every month.
  • SIM card reissue is not available.
  • This SIM card can only be used within the service areas designated by au.
    However, even within the service area, communication may not be possible in locations where signals are difficult to reach, such as indoors, underground, tunnels, behind buildings, mountainous areas, or at sea.
  • When used outside 5G/4G coverage areas, the maximum internet speed will vary depending on the region.
    Communication speed may decrease, or communication may become unavailable due to network congestion or communication maintenance.
  • Devices that are not compatible with au’s communication system or frequency bands cannot be used.
  • Some Android devices may require APN (Access Point Name) configuration after inserting the SIM card.
