1Tethering / Personal Hotspot

NihonSIM+ supports internet sharing through Tethering or Personal Hotspot. However, the available data allowance and tethering limitations may vary by plan. Please check the details of your selected plan before use.

2Monthly Plan (Postpaid)

If you plan to use the service for three months or longer, you can choose a NihonSIM+ monthly plan with a long-term contract. The service is billed monthly, and you can keep your Japanese phone number throughout the contract period.

As identity verification is required for monthly plan applications, applications are accepted in-store only. If you are interested, please contact our staff for details and application procedures.

Additional Terms of Use

• This service can be used only within Japan.
• Voice calls and SMS are subject to the conditions of the selected plan. Please check the plan details before use.
• Purchased products cannot be exchanged or returned.
• The SIM card usage period cannot be extended beyond the period specified in the selected plan.
• Internet service is available within the au network coverage area. Signal quality may vary depending on the environment, including inside buildings, underground areas, tunnels, mountainous locations, areas with obstacles, and some coastal areas.
• Outside 5G/4G coverage areas or in locations with heavy network usage, internet speeds may be reduced or connections may temporarily become unavailable. Actual service quality depends on the location and network conditions at the time of use.
• Your device must support the network technology and frequency bands used by the au network in Japan.
