1How the Usage Period Is Calculated
The first day you activate and use the package is counted as Day 1. The package remains available until 11:59 PM Japan Standard Time on the final day specified in the package.
2Tethering / Personal Hotspot
Tethering or Personal Hotspot can be used with this package. The amount of data available for tethering is subject to the allowance specified for each package.
Once the tethering allowance has been fully used, tethering speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps. Additional tethering data cannot be purchased or added after the allowance has been reached.
Additional Terms of Use
- This service can be used only within Japan.
- This is a data-only package and does not support incoming or outgoing voice calls, or sending and receiving SMS.
- Purchased products cannot be exchanged or returned.
- The SIM usage period cannot be extended beyond the period specified in the selected package.
- Internet service is available within the au network coverage area. Signal quality may vary depending on the environment, including inside buildings, underground areas, tunnels, mountainous locations, areas with obstacles, and some coastal areas.
- Outside 5G/4G coverage areas or in locations with heavy network usage, internet speeds may be reduced or connections may temporarily become unavailable. Actual service quality depends on the location and network conditions at the time of use.
- Your device must support the network technology and frequency bands used by the au network in Japan.
